Football season, the greatest sports season is upon us. This year’s NFL season begins with the defending Super Bowl champs, the Seattle Seahawks, facing off against the Green Bay Packers. Many teams seem to have made upgrades in the off-season, and we’ll see whose additions make the biggest difference starting in week one.
Here are my full season predictions:
NFC East
- Philadelphia Eagles 11-5
- New York Giants 8-8
- Dallas Cowboys 8-8
- Washington Redskins 6-10
The Eagles are my personal favorite team, and I think their further improved offense will be enough to overpower their opponents, much like the Peyton Manning and the Broncos did last season.
NFC West
- Seattle Seahawks 13-3
- San Francisco 49ers 12-4
- Arizona Cardinals 9 -7
- St. Louis Rams 3-13
I believe the reigning Super Bowl champions will resume their offensive and defensive dominance right where they finished at the end of last season.
NFC North
- Green Bay Packers 11-5
- Chicago Bears 8-8
- Minnesota Vikings 7-9
- Detroit Lions 6-10
With Aaron Rodgers back in their line-up, the Packers will once again be the driving force in the NFC North.
NFC South
- Carolina Panters 10-6
- New Orleans Saints 10-6
- Atlanta Falcons 8-8
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers 3-13
This is a tough division with the Panthers likely taking the edge over the resurgent Saints.
AFC East
- New England Patriots 12 -4
- New York Jets 9-7
- Miami Dolphins 8-8
- Buffalo Bills 6-10
Tom Brady will now have the help of some healthy receivers, look for that to be a difference maker for the always-a-contender Patriots.
AFC West
- Denver Broncos 13-3
- Kansas City Chiefs 10-6
- Sandiego Chargers 7-9
- Oakland Raiders 4-12
Can Peyton Manning prove that he is the greatest regular season quarterback of all time? I’m sure he can, and the Broncos will benefit.
AFC North
- Baltimore Ravens 9-7
- Cincinnati Bengals 9-7
- Pittsburgh Steelers 7-9
- Cleveland Browns 4-12
I slightly favor the Baltimore Ravens, but I think the Bengals have just as good a chance to win the division.
AFC South
- Indianapolis Colts 9-7
- Houston Texans 8-8
- Tennessee Titans 5-11
- Jacksonville Jaguars 3-13
The Colts will look to build upon a solid season from last year, although they should be wary of a solidified Texans team.
NFC Championship
Philadelphia Eagles vs Seattle Seahaws
AFC Championship
Indianapolis Colts vs New England Patriots
Super Bowl
New England Patriots vs Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks are my favorite to win this season’s Super Bowl. There is no reason to believe otherwise. The organization did a good job in the off season of keeping their core players on the team. That being said, I will definitely be at the University of Phoenix Stadium if the Eagles make the Super Bowl (fingers crossed)
Who do you think will win the Super Bowl, and who would you like to see as this season’s champions? Share in the Comments.
