I miss out on so many movies, books, games, and other general entertainment throughout a given year because all of those things require me to be at home for a significant amount of time, and that just doesn’t seem to happen anymore. This happens so often that I’ve had to make lists of all the titles I’ve neglected. I only recently completed viewing of all the the movies on my 2012 lists… Now obviously I’m able to catch some movies while they’re still in theaters, usually the major must-see movies. Music is almost a lifestyle for me, so these days I’m always in search of new sounds.
Many people are the same way with music as I am with other forms of entertainment, except they probably aren’t even aware enough of the music they’ve missed to create a list of for it. Luckily for anyone who enjoys music I’ve done a lot of the work for you. Too many friends approach me asking for new music or if I’ve heard a given artist’s project within the last year. I listen to a new album or project at least once a week, but this list is comprised of the ones that I enjoyed most. There’s something on here for almost everyone. Music players have been conveniently embedded directly onto the post so you don’t have to do any searching on your own.
Since 2015 is churning out albums worth listening to at a near historic pace, this list will specifically refer to the music of 2014 (I covered 2013 previously here) , and then I’ll get to 2015 in parts throughout the year.
